At the Foundations Building on the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) campus, beginning on the morning of Saturday, December 3, 2016 and ending in the early morning on Sunday, December 4, 2016, chess Grandmaster (GM) Timur Gareyev set a new world record for blindfold chess games played simultaneously. Many people are familiar with the game of chess, considered by many to be the world’s premier strategy game.
